Here’s a brief history of my running “career”:
I wasn’t very athletic growing up. And when I say that, I mean my friends and I actually used to escape from school when we had P.E. on the timetable.
At the age of 25, I moved to a small town in another country and didn’t have much to do, so I started walking the local bike paths.
I used to listen to Taylor Swift on my walks and thought “hey, maybe I could try some running?” so I started running for the choruses and walking for the verses.
Hated it. Thought running was stupid.
A few years later, I’m a certified running coach (RRCA L1 & NSW Recreational Running L1) with multiple marathons under my belt, and no one is more baffled by that turn of events than me!
